Murder at the Feast of Rejoicing : A Lord Meren Mystery
Written by an anthropologist with a good deal of expert consultation, these books will take you back to ancient Egypt as few works of fiction can. The mystery itself is challenging and interesting. The characters are engaging. The story includes a good deal of suspense as well.

A Matter of Perspective (A Stick Foster Mystery)
The Stick Foster mysteries are simply great fun. Spiritual issues are taken into consideration. The mystery and suspense are both good and the characters engaging. I intend to read every one of these.

coverTarget Switzerland
This is not a mystery, but I don't have a section for it at the moment. A discussion of the role of neutral Switzerland in World War II. Why wasn't Switzerland invaded by the Nazis as were other neutrals?

coverA Veiled Antiquity: A Torie O'Shea Mystery Just good, plain, light fun.

A Perfectly Proper Murder : A Carl Wilcox Mystery
Another good bit of fun with Carl Wilcox in South Dakota.

Also, see my review of The Ditched Blonde.

Man Who Met the Train : A Carl Wilcox Mystery

Carpe Diem
This book presents interesting characters in interesting cultural backgrounds within an interesting story plot. It's the kind of book I love. I'm going back to the library to look for more by the same authors.
