The Messiah and His Kingdom to Come: A Biblical Road Map

Overview of Revelation Study

Study resources for the book of Revelation

The book of Revelation confuses many readers. There are numerous interpreters who claim to have the key to this difficult book and to make it simple, clear and certain. But you can be confident that just around the corner there's somebody else with a similar claim, but completely different conclusions. I present this guide mostly as an aid to those who are using my Revelation study guide, but it will provide a good deal of help for others as well.

Theology of Revelation

Works on the theology of a Biblical book deal with overall topical, doctrinal, and obviously theological ideas in the book. They tend to provide more of an overview of the author's thought and less of a piece by piece examination as commentaries do. I like to read some overviews and introductions, such as those in New Testament handbooks, before my detailed study, and then read a work of theology after some time of verse by verse study. This helps get both a forest and a trees view.

Energion.com Description: This volume is on my reading list, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Based on publisher and all I have heard, however, I think it's going to be good.
