Floyd Ellsworth and his wife are currently the Praise and Worship Pastors at Heartland Fellowship Church in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. This church began in September 2003 and the musical worship plays a vital role in this multi-ethnic church. Pastor Floyd's genuine love for people is evident when he leads worship. His heart's desire is to usher the bride of Christ into the presence of the Lord. "The Westminster Catechism says it best," Floyd says of his calling, "The chief aim of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. That is exactly what I hope my music inspires people to do, experience the incredible joy that's only found in His awesome presence. For in His presence, our joy is complete." As God has opened doors, Floyd's ministry as a psalmist and lead worshiper has spread far and wide. In 2001, he and his wife, Michelle, founded Ancient Wells Ministries, an organization devoted to training and encouraging the next generation of worshipers. Under the direction of such Christian music greats as Roland Lundy, Bill Gaither, and Michael Omartian just to name a few, this record company is dedicated to opening the doors to new Christian artists and bringing to us new songs to sing to the Lord! Cried Holy is the BEST group of 14 songs on a single praise and worship CD that I have heard this year. It not only leads me from joyous praise to intimate worship but satisfies the longing in my spirit for the vision that I have seen where the Body of Christ is worshiping together with Latin style, American pop, an island beat, blues, and all the shades in between! The title song is so visual that you cannot help dropping to your knees and joining Floyd in worship. Everything is a song that touches the deepest place in my spirit with its simplicity and joy just because I am a child of God!
