As with the entire Energion.com family, the Religion, Philosophy, and Politics section is changing.
For more than 10 years, Energion.com has been primarily my personal platform. It was the place where I expressed my views on all of these topics. At times the informational style was at war with the personal.
Now I'm moving all of my strictly personal material to my personal domain, henryneufeld.com, and I'm making Energion.com more and more what I originally intended it to be--a place for serious discussion of issues centered around a moderate perspective.
Because I believe that moderation is best defined as seeing the entire spectrum, rather than some sort of constant default to the middle as it is popularly conceived, I intend to foster this discussion by bringing voices from a variety of positions, all of which are in conversation with one another and which respond to a variety of positions. These voices may be conservative, liberal, centrist, libetarian or any other position, so long as they foster that communication.
And while Energion.com is billed as a home for moderate Christian religion, not all the voices you encounter here will be Christian or even religious. What they will have in common is that they will will be in conversation with the Christian community and with one another.
This concept is still in development. Please feel free to communicate with me using any of the means listed on the contact page, or by e-mail to henry@energion.com.
For some perspective on my ideas of moderation and dialog, please check out the video that is embedded below discussing the purpose and philosophy of Energion Publications.
